MEDIOCRE, NEVER AGAIN!!!

My dearest Family

 

It is with great joy and anticipation that I write to you today. God has spoken to me in a very vivid vision. He remind me of a conversation that He and I had thirteen years ago.

 

In Spring of 1989 I was lying prostrate on the floor of my study frustrated with the state of the church. Not the church that I was attending, for I was here that I was learning the truth, but the church worldwide. I was learning things from the Word that had been denied from me for so many years.

 

Hosea 4 v.6 was very real to me,

           "My people are destroyed for a lack
             of knowledge."

 

So many people were struggling and suffering because they simply were not aware that the answers were contained in a Book that probably lay only a few metres away from them. I recognised that the answers to LIFE existed in an uncompromised relationship with Jesus and His Word. He is the Word.

 

He said in John 8 v.31-32,
            "If you abide in my Word, you are
             My disciples indeed. And you shall
             know the truth, and the truth shall
             make you free."

 

In a cry of desperation I asked, "Why are more people not teaching this Word?" His answer to me that day changed the course and destiny of my existence forever. It would transform my LIFE and those around me. I still hear His words echoing in my heart,

 

"Will you do it?"

 

They were said with such authority and intention that I could not deny Him. I answered very plainly, "Yes Lord". He replied with the instruction, "Equip the saints for the work of the ministry."

 

I awoke each morning with a compassion that drove me to reach beyond what most would consider normal. In just over four years Janine and I birthed this family. The Bay Christian Family Church. In seeing how the enemy had used poverty of spirit, soul and body to destroy those that surrounded me, I received my second instruction from the throne of God. "Teach My people to prosper."

 

It is on these two that I have run in obedience to, and honour of, my God. I stood firm on this foundation against the trials and tribulations that would attempt to destroy or distract His work. I have allowed His love in those words to flood out the fear of man. They continue to be the beacons that I use to chart the course of my destiny.

 

I awoke this morning with a new cry in my heart. I was aware that the Church has learnt so much, and yet still seemed to be so ineffective. There was an inward knowledge that our potential far surpassed the reality of what we were seeing. I searching the depths of my heart, I realized that there were questions that were mot being answered. Answers that would propel the Church worldwide into a dimension of power that we have not yet seen. A power that the enemy would not be able to stop. I called out to the Lord, "Why are these questions not being answered?" Again I heard these words.

 

"Will you do it?"

I cannot deny Him. I must obey. Even if it cost me my very LIFE! But that is why He died. So that I could live to fulfill His call!

 

This is a new day. Its a year of New Beginnings. He has begun unfolding in me an understanding that is going to transform my LIFE and those around me. In turn it will transform the lives of those around you. and again, in turn, transform the lives around them. This will have a global impact!

 

This is not a call for the MEDIOCRE, for it will require strength and courage. This is a call for those who believe their God, and believe that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. This is call for a people of FAITH!

 

It's is a new day. It is a year of New Beginnings. Together we will accomplish the very will of God!

TWO PUT 10 000 TO FLIGHT

ENCOURAGEMENT

 

This is the greatest time to be alive! We are on the verge of seeing the greatest move of God ever. Don't let anyone ever distract you from that. Now I know there are some that say that we have saying this for years, and have allowed that to convince them that nothing is going to happen. God announced to satan in Genesis 3 v.15 that Jesus was on His way to destroy him. 4000 years later Jesus fulfilled that prophecy. That was some wait! But God's Word wad still true!

 

God has spoken to us over and over again. Get ready, get ready, get ready! This is the Year of New Beginnings. God is raising a mighty work in our midst to equip believers for the work of the ministry. He is giving us great Word as He teaches us to prosper. Maybe we have not yet seen great leaps and bounds, but we have certainly seen God do some awesome things already.

 

I rejoice every time I hear of someone experiencing the goodness of God. I eaceive testimonies on almost a daily basis thanking me for teaching the Word of God as I have. Scores of people telling of how the LIFE changig Word of God has transformed and delivered them. Hallelujah!!!

You are part of this. Praise God!

 

I am reminded by Habakkuk 2 v.3,
          For the vision is yet for an   
           appointed time, but at the end it
            will speak, and it will not lie. Though
            it tarries, wait for it; because it will
           surely come, it will not tarry.

           

God has spoken, let's rally together and believe it!

 

Remember also that's Word tells us in Ecclesiastes 7 v.8,
           The end of a thing is better than its beginning.

 

Maybe things look a little slow in your LIFE at the moment. Maybe it looks like nothing much has happened. But, praise God, He has only just begun with you. Every promise of His Word will happen in your LIFE as you rise up in FAITH, and declare, "Though it tarries, I will wait for it, because it WILL surely come!"

 

Hallelujah!!! Let's stay together on this. Jesus told us in Matthew 18 v.19-20,
            "Again I say to you that if two of  
            you agree on earth concerning
            anything that they ask, it will be
            done for them by My Father in
            heaven. For where two or three are
            gathered together in My name, I
            am there in the midst of them."

 

And read this in Ecclesiastes 4 v.12,
            Though on may be overpowered by
            another, two can withstand him. 
            And a threefold cord is not quickly
            broken.

 

When you and I come into agreement, Jesus is in the midst of that, making it three. There is multiplied power when believers come together in agreement.
Deuteronomy 32 v.30 tells us that,
             ...one chase a thousand, and two
             put ten thousand to flight

 

Tremendous power is released from the presence of God when believers rise up as one voice.

The Psalmist tells us in Psalms 133 v.3c,
             Behold, how good and how pleasant
             it is for brethren to dwell
              together in unity! ...For there the
              LORD commanded the blessing

 

God COMMANDS the blessing! It is time for the body of Christ to be mobilised as never before. As partners with you, let's join hands, talents, resources, abilities... whatever, and go forth as a mighty voice in this land, declaring the victories of Jesus Christ. Let's proclaim the Name of the Lord, and let's boldly preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power to salvation.

UNSEARCHABLE RICHES - ANOINTING

I have really exciting news for you this month. That's what the GOSPEL is, GOOD NEWS!

Jesus spoke about it when He was preaching in Luke 4v.18,
        The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,   
         because He has anointed Me to
         preach the gospel to the poor; He has
         sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
          to proclaim liberty to the captives   
          and recovery of sight to the blind,  
           to set at liberty those who are
          oppressed.

 

 

 

He was speaking of the burden removing, yoke destroying power of God, the anointing (Isaiah 10v.27). The anointing is God's power at work. We see this confirmed in Acts 10v.38,
         ...how God anointed Jesus of   
          Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and
          with power who went about doing
          good and healing all who were
          oppressed by the devil, for God was
          with Him.

 

 

 

The presence of the Holy Spirit makes the anointing available to us. Paul reminded us that as children of God we are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6v.19). The same anointing is available to us. Jesus said that we would do the same works as Him, in fact, greater (John 14v.12).

If the anointing is available, then why is it that some Christians see a greater degree of power at work in their lives, and others very little? The answer is quite simple really, but it will take faith to hear the truth and allow it to take a hold in your life.

 

Paul gives us some insight into how God views this anointing in Ephesians 3v.8,
         To me, who am less than the least of
          all the saints, this grace was given,
          that I should preach among the
          Gentiles the UNSEARCHABLE
          RICHES of Christ.

 

We understand that the word, Christ, is not Jesus' surname, but rather a derivative of the Greek word, Christos, which is translated from Hebrew word, Messiah (John 1v.41), or mashiyach, which means an anointed one. Or one who has the anointing.

So, in Paul's reference to Christ, or the Anointed One, he describes the anointing as "UNSEARCHABLE RICHES".

 

We see him describe the anointing as riches again in Colossians 1v.27,
            To them God willed to make known
            what are the riches of the glory of
            this mystery among the Gentiles:
            which is Christ (the Anointed One
            and His anointing) in you, the hope
            of glory.

 

The burden removing, yoke destorying power of God, or the anointing, is referred to as riches. These RICHES are UNSEARCHABLE, yet God makes them available to us. So, if I cannot "find" them, how do I tap into them?

 

Look at the words of our Master, Jesus in Luke 16 v.11,
             ...if you have not been faithful in
             the unrighteous mammon, who will
             commit to your trust the true
             riches?

 

We have just found out that God considers the true riches to be the anointing. So this verse would read as follows: if you have not been faithful qith your money, who will commit ro your trust the anointing?

 

Wow! God wants to see how I handle my attitude and relationship towards money before He trusts me with His anointing. Jesus confirmed this in Matthew 6 v.21;24,
             21 For where your treasure is,  
             there your heart will be also...
             24 you cannot serve God and
             mammon.

 

If you find any man or woman of God moving powerfully in the anointing of God, you can know with absolute confidence that they are faithful tithers and give generously into the kingdom of God.

God has given us clear instructions what He expects of us when it comes to handling our finances. He has commanded us to tithe (Leviticus 27v.30, Malachi 3v.10) and to give generous offerings (Luke 6 v.38, 2 Corinthians 9 v.6-8).

 

Every time you obey God in the area of your finances, God is assured that you van be trusted with the true riches, the Anointing!

 

I told you that I had good news for you. As a faithful partner with this ministry; as you sow your financial gift for this ministry to continue teaching the uncompromised Word of God, the anointing that is on us is released and made available to you (Philippians 1 v.5;7). Praise God!

The burden removing, yoke destroying power anointing of God destroys lack, poverty, sickness, depression... any thing that the devil would try to throw against you, out of your life! Hallelujah!

LIVE BY FAITH FULLTIME!

 

After the death and resurrection of Jesus, we are in the most exciting time of the Church's history. The Word of God tells us in Acts 3v.20-21,

 

      ...and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,    21  whom

      heaven must receive until the time of restoration of all things, which God has spoken

      by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.
 

Jesus is coming back! However, this scripture tells us that it will not be before the restoration of all things prophesied. Or, in other words, the fulfillment of every promise of God!

Remember Galatians 6v.7,

 

      Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
 

So for God not to be mocked, every seed sown must return a harvest. He promised that His Word will not return to Him void, but accomplish what He pleases and the Word of will prosper in the thing for which He sent it (Isaiah 55v.11).

 

We are right in this season of fulfillment! Jesus is building His Church, and is doing it through you and me.

 

Someone may ask, "Why have I not seen it yet?"

 

We must remember that the "currency" of the Kingdom of Heaven is FAITH! Again,   Hebrews 11v.6,

 

       But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that

       He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
 

 

God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10v.34). But, He is a respecter of FAITH! In other words, if you and I, or anyone, goes to God on the basis of His Word and believe we receive, and live the life of FAITH, He will answer the Word the same for each and every one of us. But, He will not do anything outside of FAITH.

 

I am sure you can see why FAITH is so important. Remember Romans 1v.17,

 

       For in [the gospel] the righteousness of God is revealed from FAITH to FAITH; as it is written,

       "The just shall LIVE by FAITH."
 

LIVE by FAITH! Living is something we do 24 hours a day. If we stop living, it is called death. to stay alive we have to LIVE FULLTIME! That means that FAITH is a FULLTIME commitment.

 

FAITH is taking that water and putting it to the mouth and drinking... FAITH is acting on what you believe.

 

The woman who pushed through the crowd saying, "If I touch His garment, I will be made well", was healed when she acted on her belief. Jesus said in Luke 8v.48,

 

      ..."Daughter, be of good cheer; your FAITH has made you well. Go in peace."
 

 

 

What was her FAITH? Acting on what she believed.

 

You have received promises from God. He has spoken a Rhema Word to your heart.       Romans 10v.17,

 

     So then FAITH comes by earing, and hearing by the [Rhema] Word of God.
 

Take time to meditate on these words, allow FAITH to rise in your heart... and then act! Move forward knowing that God is not mocked. His Word will respond to your FAITH.

 

 

When you sow your next seed, hold it in your hand and declare, "God is not mocked. I can cheerfully act on the promise of God and know that I always have all sufficiency in all things and abundance for every good work. I receive every promise that God has given me, in the Name of Jesus. Thank you, Father."

STEPPING INTO VICTORY CONSISTENTLY!!!

We have all been where our faith is strong and fired up because of a great time in the Word of God in a meeting or after listening to a really inspiring message. And then, I am sure, we have all felt what it feels like when problem after problem has hit us and seems like we have been hanging on by our fingernails.
What happens at that moment... when it seems like the only question is "What now...?"

Last time we looked at 4 of 7 major things that I believe we can do to step into our victory. When I don't know what else to do, then I want to,

1) Count it all JOY! (James 1v.2-4, Nehemiah 8v.10c)

2) Saturate myself in the Word of God (Romans 10v.17)

3) Speak the Word (Romans 10v.8) and,

4) Renew my mind to the Word of God (Romans 12v.2, 2 Corinthians 10v.4-5).

The next three things to do are,

5) Act on the Word

Once I have renewed my mind to what God has said on the issue, I want to put it into motion. If all I have is faith without action, then that very faith is considered "dead faith". Look at James 2v.17,

God has promised that He will work in our lives, but He requires of us to be moving when He does. The way I see it is that it is easier to turn a moving ship than one that is standing still. Even if my life is headed "north" and I need to go "south", when I start to move "north" I can apply the pressure of the Word of God as a rudder that will turn my LIFE "south". I act as though my LIFE is already in line with the promise of the Word of God... and when I do, God is able to bring it to pass.

6) Pray Regularly

First, remember that the only way we receive is by asking. Jesus said in John 16v.24,
           Until now you have asked nothing in My name, Ask, and you will receive, that
            your joy may be full.

Now of course, we don't keep asking for the same thing. Jesus also taught us in Mark 11v.24
           Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you
            receive them, and you will have them.

So, I continue praying in the Holy Spirit and in thanksgiving until I see the manifestation
(Philippians 4v.6, Colossians 4v.2, Romans 8v.28).

7) Sow Seed

The only way to produce a harvest is through seed! And the greatest seed that I can sow is the Word of God into someone else' LIFE! Jesus told us in Mark 4v.14,

         The sower sows the word.

Every time that I give into a ministry that is preaching the Word of God, I am sowing seed
(2 Corinthians 9v.6-7). And we have the promise of God in Galatians 6v.7,

        Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

As we faithfully stay consistent with these 7 guidelines, I believe that you will see your harvest manifesting very soon! You will get through the storm and come out the other side victorious!

When you sow your seed this month, lay your hands on it and declare, out loud, "I am sowing the Word of God. I believe every promise of God and I declare that my God is faithful to complete what He has promised."
